Mini-Presentations are an effective strategy for conveying information to learners in a brief period of time (typically five minutes or less). The goal is to convey information usually not easily accessible in written formats.
Purpose: Provide information on ways to implement
the mini-presentation teaching strategy to help you build your own educator’s
portfolio.
Objectives: After completing this module, you will be able to:
- Define mini-presentation and the rationale for its use.
- Identify best practices for teaching the mini-presentation method.
- Write a plan for delivering an effective mini-presentation to support your learners in preparation for practice.
- Create an action plan for your future success as a practitioner of the mini-presentation.
Length: This module will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
